Notes about the German versions of this volume:
1st edition 1932, reprinted 1940, 1947, 1951, 1960, and 1968. 7th revised and expanded edition 1973, reprinted 1980. 9th revised and expanded edition published 1992. The text is based on the original initial reconstruction of (unnamed) stenographer. The original stenogram is no longer extant. The 7th edition made improvements to the text based on the following sources: an early hektographic copy of the original stenographic reconstruction with hand-written improvements from the notes of one of the participants, copies of the first edition with hand-written corrections made from the notes of the original participants. The original blackboard drawings by Steiner were discarded after the course. Drawings in this volume were reconstructed based on participant notes.
