1st edition (manuscript, undated, probably 1920s) under the title "Pastoral-Medical Course". 2nd edition (first in book format) expanded with the addition of entries from Rudolf Steiner's notebooks, 1973; same title as first edition. 3rd edition (reprint of the 2nd edition, but with the present title) 1984. Reprinted 1994. Note to the 1973 edition: This course has circulated up until now in three formats: as a manuscript printing, as a Hektographic copy-edition, and as a typescript. The lectures were stenographically recorded by participants and then reconstructed into a text that for the most part, but not fully, reproduces the spoken word. The editors blended the three circulating versions, which corresponded completely in content, and substantially in expression and nuance, but did differ.
