The Complete Works of Rudolf Steiner: Volume 326

Der Entstehungsmoment der Naturwissenschaft in der Weltgeschichte und ihre seitherige Entwicklung

The Moment of the Birth of Natural Science in World History and its Development Since Then

Der Entstehungsmoment der Naturwissenschaft in der Weltgeschichte und ihre seitherige Entwicklung

Section of the Complete Works: Lectures on Natural Science

    First German Edition published 1937.

Notes about the German versions of this volume:
1st edition 1937. Reprinted 1948. 3rd revised edition 1977. This course is unusual in that there are two independent and complete stenographic reconstructions extant. Only one was available during the production of the 1937 edition. However, the subsequent availability of the second allowed for substantial emendations in the 1977 edition. For the second, the existance of the actual stenogram (as opposed to the initial reconstruction) allowed for a more precise word-for-word review, and thus for a more acurate 3rd edition.
