Notes about the German versions of this volume:
1st edition 1999. Portions of the text previously published 1928, 1939, 1947, 1950, 1957, and 1966 in different formats (pamphlets, sections of books, and in periodicals). The lecture of July 14th is based on participant notes of unknown provenance. The remainder was professionally stenographically recorded by Helene Finckh; the text is based on her initial typed reconstruction. For three lectures a stenographic reconstruction by Hedda Hummel is also extant. The entire volume was compared against the original stenograms, which allowed for corrections especially to passages that previously appeared unintelligible.
