1st edition (undated) 1922. Reprinted 1931, 1933, and 1965. 5th revised and expanded edition 1979, reprinted 2002. Stenographically recorded by George Klenk, the text is based on his initial reconstruction. The initial reconstruction is unclear in certain passages, and these have been "corrected" in various way by editors of the earlier editions. These variations are noted in the footnotes. This text generally defers to the edits made to the fourth edition of 1965 by Emil Leinhas and Walter Birkigt, who were present when the lectures were originally held.
