1st edition 1958. 2nd revised edition 1976. Reprinted 1983 and 1997. The lecture on bees was published separately in 1929 and reprinted multiple times. Professionally stenographically recorded by Helene Finckh, the text of the 1958 version was based on her initial typed reconstruction. For the 1976 edition the entire text was reconstructed fresh from the original stenogram.
